All of our concrete services include ground preparation. This typically consists of removing sod & loose dirt, any existing concrete if necessary, and laying a thick bed of crushed rock, followed by a tight compaction. Proper ground preparation is the most important step for long lasting concrete.

Striving for the best, we pour concrete with a minimum of 4000 PSI cured strength at 28 days. The cement content is a minimum of  576 LBS per cubic yard of concrete, or a 6 sack mix.

All of our concrete is reinforced by standard, typically with non-corrosive high strength fiberglass rebar or fibermesh concrete additive, and sometimes both. Reinforcement greatly reduces shifting, sinking, and shrinking of concrete. Specific reinforcement arrangements can be made for any situation.

All concrete will crack, but we can control where it cracks by cutting in control joints, the lines you see on the surface of concrete. Typically control joints will be cut in while the concrete is wet with a finishing tool; Some scenarios require saw cut control joints cut in after the concrete hardens. Either way, we mitigate random cracks with strategic joint positioning that is both decorative & functional.
